Sarah Crane
I think when women feel good about being strong (not big) they are truly self-empowered. It gives them the motivation to know they can do anything. The biggest thing I have observed with women is they do not want to look funny in a gym and they have a fear of getting injured. I understand this.
I love to give a basic routine to beginners to understand each exercise and how to apply it. Understanding an individual sport and its needs is important to success, whether it is for sport or fitness. Feeling comfortable in the gym or with weights creates an empowered woman!
Edith deBruijn-Solinsky
Edith de Bruijn-Solinsky was born in a little fishing town in Holland. Her parents inspired her love and passion for the outdoors and independence at a young age by hiking the Alps and having each of their children carry their own packs with their clothing. The family also often went biking on the weekends. Cycling and fitness is in the family blood as her dad was a bike racer and avid rider until he was 76. Edith also competed in swimming even making it to the Dutch championship one year.
Her travels and life experience as a nurse, Garden Architect, Massage Therapist, wife and mother lead her to some interesting places such as a volunteer on a Kibbutz in Israel, hiking in Nepal and Peru, Colorado and hiking 1200 miles on the Appalachian trail. She currently resides in New Hampshire.
"I was very excited when Celeste asked me to come to the 2009 camp to offer massage therapy. It was such a nice experience to be at camp, wonderful energy and such a treat to massage women with good muscles! Everybody was so nice and all spoke so positively about their experience at camp: how it is very well organized and has top quality instructors. I hope to see you in 2010!"
