Details: Participate in this one-day Open Water Swim clinic to sharpen your skills for the Lake George swim at Hague Beach.
Our Certified, passionate, TI Coaches will be there to share their experience and knowledge of open water swimming and competing.
We’ll meet Friday afternoon from 2-6pm at Hague Beach in Hague NY on beautiful Lake George. Expect to practice on part of the course, rehearse starts, practice sighting, drafting, pack swimming, navigating, fueling, buoy turns and exiting.
**Due to the duration of the clinic we recommend bringing a wetsuit and warm clothes for those who get cold easily.
There will be a safety kayak on hand, but participants need to know how to swim prior to attending. This is not a clinic for absolute beginners.
Registration for the Lake George Swim event is not included in the clinic fee. Please go to www.lakegeorgeswim.com for details about the race on Saturday, August 25th.
What to bring:
- suit
- cap
- 2 pr goggles
- wetsuit if you tend to get chilled easily
- warm dry layer of clothes
- paper and pen for note taking.
